Adorable Grandpa Shops at a Second-Hand Store for a New Blouse for His Wife
He was actually looking for a good blouse for his wife!
It is a fact that men and women differ in their perspectives, motives, rationales, and actions. However, according to studies: Whether you’re a man or a woman, your purchasing decisions are based more on habit than rational decision-making. There is no denying that women love to shop–and men don’t like to spend too much time on that for too long. This is one reason why most men would never be caught shopping with their wives!
Women can be habitual shoppers as well, which can be a problem for some husbands who do not exactly have a good-paying job. This is why men who accompany their wives are often commended on social media, especially those who stick by their wives even it takes them hours to shop. One grandpa touched the hearts of many after he was spotted shopping at an “ukay-ukay” or second-hand shop. He was obviously shopping for his wife’s clothes as he was sorthing through blouses and shirts for women. The Facebook post’s author expressed her amazement towards the old man. Because despite his old age, he never forgets to make his wife happy with a little bit of shopping.
Janina Ulanday’s post read:
“Para po kanino tay?” he didn’t even bother to look at me. Sumagot lang sya “para sa babae.” I asked him again “pang regalo po ba?” He look at me as he raise the hanger “para sa misis ko. Maganda ba?” I smiled “opo tay, maganda” tinanong nya ulit ako “tingin mo magugustuhan ng babae to?” I said “opo naman, tay!” . Tumawa sya sabay sabing “hindi pala sayang yung tagal kong naghanap. Para kay misis to. Para may pang-alis siya. Salamat ha?”
But the old man didn’t leave, and instead came back looking for a skirt to pair the blouse with. Isn’t he the sweetest?
