Isang Samsung Store, Pinapayagan ang Batang Ito na Gumawa ng Homework sa Kanilang Pwesto
Having a good education is not a privilege, it’s a right. And yet, 61 million children are not in school. Educating children no matter where they are is one of the biggest steps we can take toward ending extreme poverty, but sadly, poverty has become a hindrance for many children when it comes to fulfilling their dreams. While the academically gifted can easily get scholarships, there are students who lack both in the financial and academic sector, and being able to go to school can be a struggle.
While there are students who choose to cut and skip classes, there are a ton of students who wish they could be given the opportunity to study without having to worry about anything. Especially nowadays, wherein students are asked to do projects and homeworks that require money and technology, students have no choice but to quit school if not fail for failing to fulfill school requirements. But if there is a will, there is a way! For this young boy, being able to at least do his homework was all that mattered. Thankfully, this Samsung store was ready to help.
Since his assignments often require the use of a computer and the internet (which he doesn’t have), he goes to this Samsung store to use their tablet and internet for free. Instead of “shooing” the kid away, the store attendants would simply let him use their gadgets every day, so that he could finish his homework in time. Hopefully, the child’s determination would last him a lifetime, and be successful in the future! Kudos to Samsung for giving the child a hand. Our society today needs people like these.
There’s always a glimmer of hope in humanity… This store lets this kid come in & do his homework every day because he has no internet or computer at home
